
The Jack Frost Series
Jack W.A. Frost lived in Golden, British Columbia with his wife Edith Stonehouse. Before he met her he was a boxer and once he retired to box, he kept training new boxers. This series includes letters from his friend and fellow boxer Eddie Ivory. When his boxing career was over, he became a mountain guide at Lake Louise. This is where he met his future wife, Edith Stonehouse, who was in Lake Louise on vacation. This series includes letters from Edith and Jack as plan to marry and for Edith to emigrate from England to Canada in the 1930s. Their story continues during the summer in 1940 when Jack is back for his annual summer job as a guide at Lake Louise.
